Sunflowers

limited edition art & community fundraiser

Some projects start with a question. This one started with a belief that art can be a form of action, and that creativity, offered freely, is one of the most powerful things a community can give.

In 2022, I curated a group of fifteen artists to contribute original miniature works inspired by the sunflower, a universal symbol of hope, resilience, and light. Each artist donated their time and talent entirely.

I assembled each contribution into a single poster format and led the print production from concept to finished object, collaborating with Seattle’s Paper Press Punch to produce a limited edition risograph print. Proceeds were donated in full to the International Rescue Committee and World Central Kitchen, two organizations on the frontlines of the world’s worst humanitarian crises, helping people survive, recover, and rebuild. Fifteen artists and one poster; made in the spirit of hope.
